Scrapbooking as My Heart is Breaking

It's been a week now since Bob has passed and it just seems so empty without him. I know many people would say he was just a dog but he was much much more than that - he was my friend.
It was hard not to get tears on the page as I was making it but it's therapy and I think it's one of my better pages and I think of art and scrapbooking as therapeutic.

Bob would follow me everywhere and as I am so thankful I noticed what a blessing it is to have my "guys" follow me from room to room and when I took the photo on this page I felt the love around me as they were sleeping. I was doing my thing and they just wanted to be near me whatever I was doing.
The main journaling says: "By my side forever you will be... not physically now but close in my heart. Bob followed my thru the house all day & night. He was my constant companion & such a
great dog! My scrap/office space is very small & I would step over him many times while working on a page. I never minded and would give anything to step over you again."
The journaling under the main part of the page reads: "My little work area has more room to walk but feels so empty without Bob - May 28, 2008"

Journaling on circle reads: "I did notice this little moment & captured all the love around me relaxing."

Have a blessed day.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, but what a wonderful layout as a tribute! Take care...

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Bob. In 2000 we lost our beloved Daisy May. She was 18 and she was our baby. She was loved by everyone. She was such a cuddle bug. And 8 years later she is still missed. It would be so sad to come home and not hear her little toes on the tile.

We have since adopted 2 monsters. They are in no way like Daisy, but I don't know what I will do when we lose them. Hugs to you and I hope Bob is playing with Daisy May over the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm am sooooo sorry for your loss. I would feel the same way if anything were to happen to my baby. A lot of people don't understand how much of a family member our pets are to us.

Your layout is so touching and from the heart. I'm sure he will be missed dearly. Sending you {{HUGS}} and prayers to get through this trial smoothly.

Sorry to hear about your Bob,
I know how you feel, they do become family. I cried while doing a lo about my german shepherd who passed away, and I did this lo a year after he was gone.

You commented on my blog about my dog, how he looks a little like your Rosie...that's funny cuz his name is Rocky. And you can tell by the 'look' on his face, he KNOWS he shouldn't be on my swing.
